Kim's Korean Restaurant sits at 99 Eglin Pkwy NE in Fort Walton Beach and feels like a comforting slice of Korea tucked into the local dining scene, a place many people willingly travel some distance to experience. Walking in, you’ll notice that it attracts a loyal crowd, including many Korean diners, which speaks volumes about the authenticity of the food and atmosphere. The menu leans heavily into classic, home-style Korean cooking, with dishes that arrive promptly and consistently deliver rich, satisfying flavors. Favorites such as pork bulgogi are praised for being especially tender and well-seasoned, while staples like tteokbokki are prepared carefully, offering a softer, milder spice level that’s approachable for American palates without losing their Korean character. One of the highlights of the dining experience is the generous spread of complimentary banchan, with unlimited refills of assorted side dishes that add variety and balance to the meal. Seafood lovers often gravitate toward the Korean seafood pancake, which stands out for its texture and savory depth, and dishes like Korean BBQ and cold noodles round out the menu with plenty of traditional options, even if some items lean slightly saltier than expected. Beverage choices include tea and a selection of soju, adding to the authentic feel, though prices reflect local standards rather than those in Korea. Service plays a big role in the overall experience here, with friendly, personable staff who keep things light and welcoming, often adding humor to interactions. Overall, Kim’s Korean Restaurant offers a warm, genuine introduction to Korean cuisine in the area, blending comforting homemade flavors, attentive service, and a casual setting that encourages guests to relax, explore multiple dishes, and enjoy the kind of meal that feels both familiar and special at the same time.

I had a great time here, food was delivered promptly and had great taste. Best Korean food I’ve had since being in Korea. They were out of soda, which is fine as I drink tea more and they have a good selection of soju ($13 though yikes, it’s 1.25 in Korea lol) the pork bulgogi was delicious and the boki was perfectly done. They make it for American pallets so it isn’t spicy at all and they do the unlimited sides of different side dishes for free which is awesome. Recommend giving it a try. They do charge more if using your card.
Great place, lots of local Koreans dining here. Food is authentic homemade taste. Price is decent. Waitress is friendly and has a good sense of humor!
We drove all the way from Pensacola to dine here. The Korean food is very authentic. We had Korean seafood pancake, Korean BBQ, and cold noodles. The seafood pancake is highly recommended. The cold noodles were a bit salty and could be more refreshing.
We have been eating here for over 10 years. It is a 45 to 60 minute drive for us from Pensacola, but the quality and value is worth it for us. The wife loves their Yukgaejang soup, and I have like all I have eaten there. I have had bi-bim-bop, kimchee chigae and fried rice among other dishes. My favorite is the yaki mandu, a fried Korean wonton with ground pork. I have eaten it several times in Korea and Korean homes, but the BEST is available here!
There were a lot of options, some we hadn't seen at the Korean restaurants back home. The staff were helpful and friendly and our food came out quickly. Everything tasted great!
